Okay so here it is, my final piece that comes from my Schoolism.com classes with Bobby Chiu You can see his original version of the Yeti on that page.


We got the lineart of the bigfoot creature, pencil on paper smudgy, and all that fun - and had to do a complete painting with it. It was over two weeks' worth of lessons working on it. We did an initial color rough - just basically an outline of the character, color, background and comp - which he critiqued and then we did 'Color finishing' as our last and final exercise out of the 9 week course.

It was expensive, but I learned a TON. Bobby Chiu is simply put one of the best teachers out there. Tons of patience, kindness and thoroughness. It was fun.
